Cluster Information
Jamshedpur, a leader in mining and industrial activities in Jharkhand, is home to Adityapur Industrial Area (AIA City), a thriving Special Economic Zone with over 1500 industrial units under the governance of Adityapur Industrial Area Development Authority. Since 1972, the cluster stands as Asia’s largest industrial estate, with three infrastructure components: a Hi-Tech Laboratory with bench marketing centre, a Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) and a Hazardous Waste Management (HWM) facility which is a Common Facility Centre.
